What is ReSPECT?

ReSPECT stands for Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment. The ReSPECT process creates a personalised recommendation for your clinical care in emergency situations where you are not able to make decisions or express your wishes.

Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Wellbeing Service

The Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Wellbeing Service is a team of NHS experts that are attached to your GP practice. We specialise in treating the kinds of common problems that affect all of us at some time. The therapies we provide are evidence-based treatments in line with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance, which is a national recommendation of best practice.

Working Towards a Dementia Friendly District

There are currently over 800,000 people living with dementia in the UK and this figure is set to rise to 1 million by 2021.

In Cannock Chase District, there are approximately 1,184 people living with dementia and this figure is expected to increase to just over 2,000 by 2030.

The Chase Community Partnership has been working towards making Cannock Chase a dementia friendly place over the last two years, with particular successes in parts of the District such as Hednesford and Norton Canes.
